I'm a writer living in Northern Michigan at the moment. I moved here a few months ago from Tallahassee, FL, and I am really enjoying it. Except for the ridiculously cold weather.

I have degrees in history and political science from Florida State University, and I always planned on having an academic career. I've recently decided, however, that writing is what I really love to do, so I'm giving it a shot.
